Well after you enter the receipt notice, automated service gives you the information and then you can press the option that you did not find any info and then it will connect to a rep and tell him to open an SR
Atleast this is what I did
service rep. I tried calling could not find a way to talk to somebody to create SR. Can anybody help? What are sequence of numbers after calling 800 number...

Your lawyer is absolutely wrong. All applications received on or before 17th Aug.2007 must be received by USCIS, even if they can't open the the packets on or before 17th Aug.2007.

Folks who opened an SR and had NSC-CSC-NSC transfers, what is the format of the ref # the Cust Service Rep gave you??
I got a # of the format T1NXXXXXXXXXXXCSC format.
I also got this format. but response, came from NSC after 30 days of filing SR.
I had called in the middle to confirm whether SR went to CSC. Rep said requests will get to apprpriate service center.
the other problem is for people like us, the status says " case traansferred and pending at uscis office". I find that reps find it hard to figure out where it is pending. because of wac number, they sometimes conclude it is CSC.
the status on phone says "pending at lincoln".

A question about CIR. Currently isin't it more beneficial for anti-immigrants to just ensure that absolutely NOTHING is done to CIR? That way the Senate version of CIR never sees the light of day, but since it doesnt die either, no other legislation can come into place.
I guess my question is, how & when exactly does CIR "die"/get phased out of the picture so that other legislations may be considered?

Looks like the EAD CPO email is based on the category EB3 or EB2.I have seen EB2 people that applied at the same time as a EB3 and the EB2 folks are getting approvals.
I have applied on Jul 10th and there is nothing for me.I have see atleast 4-5 people who have filed at the same time as me or even after me and got approvals.
Is the EAD renewal also driven by
1) Labor PD
2) The fact that you are current or not as per current bulletin.

Madam Rice is trying to divert the issue by telling skilled professional from all over the world wants to come here....This is not the issue.....
Issue is there are thousands of high skilled professional with approved labor and I-140 , waiting for years to file I-485.... DOS told then on 13th June that you all can file I-485 and all of the sudden on 2nd July 07 DOS said we can't accept your application...
So madam secretary it's not issue of how many high skilled professional wants to come here. Infact DOS/USCIS/Govt. of US need to think how life is tough for those high skilled professional who already came here and waiting for years to get green card through legal system....
In Fox News this afternoon, the senator has explicitly said that the Chicago lady does not have any "constituional rights" since she is not American citizen. Go figure what they think about us.

For some postal destinations the USPS offers guaranteed 2 day service. I recently mailed a package where this service was offered. The postal worker explained that if the package was mailed on a Friday, it would be delivered on Sunday. San Francisco, CA is one of the destinations where this service is offered and the package in question was, indeed, delivered on a Sunday.

I had a LUD on 7/28 and nothing after that... My I140 approved in Texas in April2006. I think we should get the receipt number here pretty soon...

It seems like all the LUDs on approved I140 from Texas for July filers is pointing towards their I485 being sent to Texas too. Hence, this unimaginable prolonged delay. Can we do anything about it except sulk?

There is no short cut to get relief. Each one of us needs to spend time, money and effort on a continuous basis for a long term, if we want something to happen. Nothing happens overnight. If your opposition is tough, economy is bad, you have to make more efforts to get things done. Those people who complain have never even tried to become a volunteer and tried doing anything. That needs to stop. If people genuinely want something to happen, each person needs to get active. We have stopped posting much on the open forum for these reasons. Very few show real commitment and sincerity. $25 is the least you can do to show that you are committed to the purpose of this relief and appreciate the hard work of the organization. We are always welcoming anyone who wishes to volunteer and can help implement their ideas. So if you have ideas and can commit your time, skills and energy for it on a continuous basis contact us.
